INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK V-RIBBED BELT FOR LOOSENESS

  1. Check the tension of the belt by pushing it down with a finger.

    OK:
    The tension of the belt is correct.



NG
ADJUST V-RIBBED BELT (Click here)
OK


2.CHECK V-RIBBED BELT FOR WEAR

  1. Check the V-ribbed belt for wear.

    OK:
    The V-ribbed belt is not worn.



NG
REPLACE V-RIBBED BELT (Click here)
OK


3.CHECK GENERATOR CLUTCH PULLEY FOR WEAR

  1. Check the clutch pulley grooves for wear or other defects.

    OK:
    The clutch pulley grooves are not damaged.



NG
REPLACE GENERATOR CLUTCH PULLEY (Click here)
OK


4.CHECK FOR NOISE WHILE GENERATOR CLUTCH PULLEY IS OPERATING

  1. Perform a driving test and check if noise occurs when decelerating.

    OK:
    Noise does not occur.



NG
REPLACE GENERATOR CLUTCH PULLEY (Click here)
OK

REPLACE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY (Click here)
